SYNOPSIS

In - between two longwave troughs, one over W - Europe, the other one over E- Europe, warm and humid conditions prevail. Widespread thunderstorm development is anticipated in an environment, characterized by weak shear and modest instability release. Somewhat stronger helicity values over NW / N - Germany could result in an isolated large hail report but otherwise, pulsating thunderstorms will pose a risk for marginal hail and strong wind gusts. We highlighted parts of N - Italy and eastwards in a marginal level - 1 area as instability release will be stronger. Overall very weak shear will preclude organized thunderstorms and all issued level areas are marginal.

Rich BL moisture and slow storm motion will hint on an excessive rainfall risk with attendant flash flooding. Please be aware that this risk is not included in our risk scheme.
